BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for an Engineering Student. This is a 4 month (May to August) term located in Charlottetown , PEI.

 

The candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Preparing turn-over packages and commissioning packages for new equipment and systems as well as preparing retrospective packages for existing equipment.
  • Preparing qualification protocols for equipment and system installations to verify performance under specified operating conditions.
  • Executing commissioning and qualification packaged in part or in whole.
  • Assisting in installation activities.
  • Up-dating As-built drawings in AutoCAD while following change control procedures.
  • Preparing surface area calculations for new equipment.
  • Preparing maintenance binders for new equipment.
  • Participating in various aspects of new equipment and system design projects.
  • Organizing EQP filing system.
  • Organizing and archive CAD drawings.

 

The successful candidate for this position should have:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.   

 Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour, based on years of education.
