Location: Westlake, TX  (on-site on Wednesdays / 4 days remote)

 

ECI is currently seeking a Mergers & Acquisition Integration and Corporate Project Manager responsible for leading activities to integrate new acquisitions into ECI and assigned corporate projects.

 

This high-visibility M&A integration role has responsibility for participating in due diligence prior to acquiring companies to formulate the plan for and risks of integration. Post Close, the individual in this role will coordinate integration activities of all ECI’s corporate departments, as well as leading the migration to NetSuite and ECI’s Salesforce including Pardot, Sales Cloud/CPQ, Service Cloud, Community Portal and Certinia.

 

As a Corporate Project Manager, this individual will drive corporate initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring requirements and project objectives are met/exceeded.  Assignments will require coordination of cross-functional, global teams to design and align on solutions, build a project plan and schedule, execute and report on status.

 

This role is encouraged to implement best practices and scalable solutions, while creating transparency and proper change management protocols to ensure the most successful project execution experience for internal and external stakeholders.  The Mergers & Acquisitions Integration and Corporate Project Manager will report to the Sr. Director of M&A Integration and Project Management.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

M&A Integration

  • Analyze information shared in data rooms, hold well-structured meetings with the target to learn about their company, and document findings and risks for the Corporate Development team.
  • Hold regular meetings with all employees from acquisition to provide updates on integration progress. 
  • Coordinate the integration activities of HR, Marketing, F&A, Support, Professional Services, and Operations.  Coordinate with IT project managers and Division Leadership on integration activities in their area.
  • Lead the migration to NetSuite and Salesforce, including Pardot, Sales Cloud/CPQ, Service Cloud / Community Portal, and Certinia. 
    • Understand unique requirements the acquisition may have
    • Facilitate creating solutions for acquisition’s unique requirements
    • Coordinate setting up price books for items to be sold
    • Lead Client Acceptance Testing
    • Coordinate Go-Live (training, communication, Q&A sessions, assignment of Salesforce mentors/buddies, etc.) and post Go-Live activities
    • May provide Go-Live training
    • Set milestones for the above activities and report on status using project management software
    • Identify risks and issues with the above and address as needed to allow for successful implementation
  • Ability to track / document details is a must
  • Conduct post-mortems after each acquisition and feed improvements identified into the M&A playbook
  • Assist with other migration duties as needed

 

Corporate Project Management

  • Follow the standard PMBOK project management methodology to lead CRM, ERP and other corporate projects, including:
    • Requirements and data gathering
    • Training and communication
    • Change management
    • Leading project retrospectives and utilizing results to continuously improve processes
  • Build and maintain a project schedule and issue register for each project
  • Actively manage project risks and issues
  • Track project success metrics and report on project status via dashboards
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and decision making, escalate issues in a timely manner, and drive accountability for action items and deadlines
  • Ensure realistic expectations are maintained through effective stakeholder engagement and management
  • Direct and manage multiple projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including charter, scope, requirements, and task definition and execution
  • Contribute to ongoing development of mater templates, best practices, processes and tools to enhance project execution, quality and productivity

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Must have previous experience project management experience leading corporate initiatives.  Prior experience managing M&A integration is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and ERP data migrations is ideal
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Salesforce preferred
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding project scheduling skills
  • Must demonstrate strong customer satisfaction values; is strongly motivated by providing exceptional experience for internal / external customers
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be willing to leverage the M&A playbook and processes in place and provide input on enhancements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Easily establishes rapport and effective relationships, while driving accountability for shared results
  • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both mid-level and executive level
  • Continuously seek continuous improvement
  • Experience working with multi-site, multi-country organizations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)

 

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
