Water Mission will only gather sensitive personal information, such as your social security number, driver&rsquo;s license number, race, ethnicity, banking information, or details on your criminal background upon acceptance of offers of employment and through the onboarding processes.&nbsp;

We may store your personal information for an extended period, depending on how we use the data, or for any duration as required by law. For example, we may keep your application packet within a talent pool, including a resume, job application with personal information, cover letter, reference information, education certificates, and criminal records (for international hiring only) for future hiring opportunities.&nbsp;
Who is the information shared with?&nbsp;
We may share your information with third parties and Water Mission employees involved in hiring. Water Mission thoroughly vets third-party affiliates in partnership for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding. Your information will be shared third-party:&nbsp;

Information Security&nbsp;
We keep your private information secure and safe in accordance with industry standards. Personal information is encrypted and is therefore protected from being accessed by outside users. However, data leaks and malicious attacks do happen. While we do our best to protect your data, providing your personal information is at your own risk.
Ability to decline to provide personal information.&nbsp;
You can, of course, refuse to disclose your personal information to us. However, the failure to provide us with pertinent information may limit your ability to fully seek employment from Water Mission and all its job offerings. Remember, we only ask for personal information to help us comprehensively conduct recruitment, hiring, and onboarding practices.
