All personal data is processed and stored securely in either electronic or physical format, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Mizkan Euro will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the United Kingdom or the European Union. It may however, disclose personal data to certain third parties that provide services to the Company particularly for any recruitment related services. With any such third party, Mizkan Euro will ensure that it does not disclose any personal data prior to executing an agreement / contract with them to ensure compliance with GDPR and any other applicable laws relating to safeguarding personal data. 
We will use the contact details you provide to us to contact you to progress your application. We will use the other information you provide to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for. 
What information do we ask for, and why? 
The information we ask for is used to assess your suitability for employment. By providing your details through our application process you agree to us holding relevant information. 
The personal data we may collect from you includes (but will not be limited to):

<li>contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and personal email addresses </li>
<li>copies of driving licence, passport, birth certificates and proof of current address, such as bank statements and council tax bills </li>
<li>evidence of how you meet the requirements of the job, including CVs and references </li>
<li>evidence of your right to work in the UK and immigration status </li>
<li>diversity and equal opportunities monitoring information &ndash; this can include information about your race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, disability and other &lsquo;special category data&rsquo; </li>
<li>information about your health, including any medical needs or conditions </li>
<li>other information required for some applications </li>
<li>if you contact us regarding your application, a record of that correspondence </li>
<li>if we contact you regarding your application, a record of that correspondence </li>
<li>the status of your application and updates on how it moves forward </li>
</ul>
Our HR staff will have access to all of this information. 
Our hiring managers will have access only to information relevant to the role you have applied for. They will not have access to any diversity or equal opportunities information. 
We might ask you to participate in assessment days, complete tests or occupational personality profile questionnaires and/or to attend an interview &ndash; or a combination of these. Information will be generated by you and by us. For example, you might complete a written test, or we might take interview notes. This information is held securely by us and only used in the process of assessing your suitability for employment. 
If you are unsuccessful following assessment or any other stage of the recruitment process, any information you have provided or notes that we have taken will be kept for a period of 6 months following the closure of the campaign and then they will be safely destroyed. 
If you are successful in your application, we will retain your information in accordance with our Fair Processing Notice, a copy of which will be provided to you with your offer letter.
