Hajoca Corporation (“Hajoca,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) collects and processes information about you as described in this Statement. Hajoca is committed to protecting the privacy of those with whom it interacts. This Statement contains details about how we collect, use, and share with third parties information reasonably related to a specific individual (“Personal Information”). Please read this Statement carefully.

Applicability: This Statement does not apply to job applicants or our personnel.

Whenever you interact with us on behalf of another individual or entity, such as by providing or accessing Personal Information about another individual, you represent that your interactions and exchanges comply with applicable data protection laws. You shall have sole responsibility for any violation of applicable laws as a result of a failure to obtain any necessary consent from such individual.

We collect Personal Information about you and how you interact with us in the following ways:

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide you with products and services, such as to provide our websites to you; register and administer accounts; provide products and services requested; provide customer support; diagnose, repair and track service and product quality issues; communicate with you about your product, service, or subscription; authenticate account users; verify eligibility for certain programs or benefits; to respond to requests, complaints, and inquiries; and otherwise facilitate your relationship with us.

We may use Personal Information we collect to send you newsletters, surveys, questionnaires, promotions, or information about events. We may use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated information for any legal purpose.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information to the categories of recipients described below:

Affiliates and subsidiaries. We may disclose information within our group of companies, which includes parents, corporate affiliates, subsidiaries, business units, and other companies that share common ownership for the purposes described above.
Service providers. We may disclose information to service providers that help us perform our business functions, including completing a transaction you request or supporting our relationship with you, such as IT providers, logistics providers, analytics companies, and marketing providers.
Professional consultants. We may disclose information to professional consultants, such as accountants, lawyers, financial advisors, and audit firms.
Business partners. We may share information with business partners to complete transactions that you request. In such cases, these business partners may use your Personal Information for their own purposes. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of our business partners.
For legal, security, or safety purposes. We may disclose information to third parties, including law enforcement or other government agencies, to comply with law or legal requirements; to investigate and respond to claims made against us; to enforce or apply our Terms of Site Use and other agreements; and to protect ours, our users’, or third parties’ rights, property or safety.
In connection with a corporate transaction. If we, or some or all of our assets, are merged with or acquired by another entity, including through a sale or in connection with a bankruptcy, we may disclose your Personal Information with entities involved in the transaction.

5. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We collect information (or permit third parties to collect information) via cookies and other tracking technologies. The information we collect may include your Internet Service Provider, IP address, the date and time you access our websites, and the pages you accessed while visiting our websites. Some cookies exist only during a single session and some are persistent over multiple sessions over time. We use these technologies to remember user preferences and settings, understand how our websites are used, and maximize the performance of our websites and services. Some browsers have incorporated Do Not Track (“DNT”) preferences. This includes retaining your Personal Information to provide you with the products or services you have requested and interact with you; maintain our business relationship with you; improve our business over time; ensure the ongoing legality, safety and security of our services and relationships; or otherwise in accordance with our internal retention procedures. We may retain your Personal Information in our systems and records after your relationship with us has ended in order to ensure adequate fulfillment of surviving provisions in terminated contracts or for other legitimate business purposes, such as to demonstrate our business practices and contractual obligations, provide you with information about our products and services, or comply with our legal obligations.

Our websites are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. The websites are not directed at, marketed to, nor intended for, children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information, including Personal Information, from children under 18 years of age. We may require the agent to demonstrate authority to act on behalf of the individual by providing signed permission from the individual. Hajoca Corporation (“Hajoca,” “Company,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of Personal Data (i.e., information reasonably related to a specific individual). This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes how we process Personal Data of California residents who apply for a job with Hajoca. If you interact with our website, purchase our products or services, or otherwise engage with us outside of the job application context, the privacy notice provided in connection with that interaction applies instead, not this Notice.

Whenever you interact with us on behalf of another individual or entity, such as if you provide us with names of other individuals as references in your job application, you must obtain their consent (or have the legal authority without consent) to share their Personal Data with us.

Changes: We may update this Notice from time to time. Any updated Notice will be effective when posted. Please check this Notice periodically for updates.

This Notice does not form part of any contract of employment or other contract to provide services and does not give you any contractual rights.

Directly from you. We may collect Personal Data you provide to us directly, such as when you complete a paper or online application (including on a dedicated online talent management platform), communicate with us in connection with your application, provide references, or participate in an interview or any aptitude test or assessment (including online). We may also collect your Personal Data when you decide to complete questionnaires, such as a satisfaction survey or a diversity and inclusion questionnaire.

Data collected automatically. We may automatically collect information or inferences from or about you or your device.

From third parties. We may collect Personal Data from third parties, such as companies or individuals who direct or refer you to us (including third-party staffing or recruiting firms), as well as from publicly available sources and third-party professional social networking websites. Where permitted or otherwise authorized by law, we may also collect information received from third parties in connection with background checks.

We may combine and use information and make inferences from information that we receive from the various sources described in this Notice, including third party sources. We also use or disclose the combined information and inferences for the purposes identified below.

Professional or employment-related information, such as resume information, certifications, qualifications, membership in professional organizations, employment history, job preferences (including your willingness to relocate or travel), documentation required under immigration and employment laws (such as citizenship, visa data, details of residency, and work permit information), and such other information you provide. We may also collect and process information about you generated during or after interviews and related activities, such as tests or satisfaction surveys. This information may come directly from you or from our employees or contractors.

Education information, such as education history, professional qualifications, academic certificates and licenses, languages spoken, and other relevant skills.

Inferences drawn from any of the information we collect, such as the likelihood of your profile being a good fit with our internal team and long-term prospects with the Company.

Sensitive Personal Data, including the following:

Social Security number, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number.
Account log-in information.

Racial or ethnic origin or religious or philosophical beliefs, if you chose to provide it.

Information about your health, such as disability status and information about such disability, vaccination status, and food intolerances (if, for instance, we invite you for a meal or we book a flight for your job interview).

Information about your sexual orientation, should you choose to provide it.

We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

In connection with your application, such as assessing your application, interview, and test results for suitability for the position for which you have applied or other open positions; communicating with you concerning job openings or your application; conducting pre-employment verification and screening; offering you the job position, in our discretion; notifying you of job opportunities (including from affiliates in our group, where we have shared your job application with them); and dealing with any inquiry, challenge, or request for feedback received in relation to our recruitment and hiring decisions.

For our internal business purposes, such as managing and improving our recruitment process (for example, enhancing our scouting and talent identification processes); enforcing our policies and rules; and operating our diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Your Personal Data will be retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we have outlined above unless we are required to do otherwise by applicable law. This includes retaining your Personal Data for purposes consistent with the applicant-related context of our interactions; to improve our application and recruiting practices over time; to ensure the ongoing legality, safety and security of our services and relationships; and for other legitimate business purposes in accordance with our internal retention procedures.

California residents may have certain rights, subject to legal limitations, concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data under the CCPA, such as:

Right to Know.
