About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Accounting team as a Senior Accountant&nbsp;based in <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Shelton, CT. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company by providing timely and accurate financial information for internal and external use, maintaining and ascertaining the integrity of accounting records for the purpose of compiling and reconciling accounting and operational information for a multitude of countries, branches and entities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and post journal entries.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and analyze account reconciliations for multiple countries.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Month end and year end closings.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Intercompany transactions with a reconciliation of foreign transactions.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Identify discrepancies, research and resolve in a timely manner.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ad-hoc assignments as needed.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required, preferably in accounting.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5 years related experience.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Previous experience with foreign national currency a plus.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient with Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis in Excel.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Follow through is a must.</li>
